Easy home made gluten free Granola

Granola is the ultimate topping of any breakfast bowl or porridge. Is adds a nice crunch and an extra taste.

Making your own granola is not only easy, it is also way more healthy than the sugar sweetened, oil drenched products you find in most supermarkets.

Home made gluten free granola without low quality oils and sugar is very beneficial for you as it combines protein and complex carbs for an energy boost in the morning.

To make your own home made granola you can just use ingredients most of us have at home anyway.

  • 100 grams of gluten free oats

  • 50 grams of sunflower seeds

  • 50 grams of pumpkin seeds

  • 20 grams flax seeds

  • 20 gr walnuts and nuts of your choice

  • 20 gr almonds chopped

  • 50 grams almond meal

  • 30 ml maple syrup or coconut sugar

  • 30 ml organic canola oil or coconut oil

Simply mix the seeds and the oats with the almond meal and pour in the coconut sugar and oil and distribute with your hands until some parts start to stick together.

Transfer your granola mix on a large oven plate and bake at 145 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes.

Let it cool off for about about 45 minutes, this time is important as the granola will get crispier and clumps will set. Break the granola into clumbs and store in a jar for 2 weeks. Enjoy!
